My good friend and former American Greetings co-worker Chris Hsu recently completed a portrait of my parents' new pup Beaux. Don't those doughy eyes just melt your heart?

And here is Nattie Gann's portrait that he created last year. What a peach.

beaux is my new baby brother,
much different than my other.

this little guy hiccups when he sleeps,
blowdryers and tissue paper are what he loves to eat.

he brings so much happiness to my dad,
i love love love this fine blond lad.

he will grow to be very big and strong,
and will always be special even when he does wrong.
(which is A LOT)
