Illustrator Lisa Congdon runs a charming, little blog called A Collection a Day.She photographs/sketches/paints a collection of some sort each and every day. Much like me when I was young, she enjoys arranging and organizing these collections. You can tell she is an artist simply by her layouts. Below are a few of my favorites.
I loved collecting the following when I was a kid: geodes, feathers, sand dollars, Susan B. Anthony coins, pictures of great white sharks, and can tabs.
i'm a designer/artist/daydreamer inspired by the sea and the south. i've published work with american greetings and paper-moments.com, along with launching dot+jim- my little greeting card and collage print company. i hail in lovely savannah with my goofy lab nattie gann (see above illustration). say hi or send tasty recipes to: claireteschel@gmail.com. cheers!
